ok, so i'm wondering if i want to start my own phpBB, what sort of things (mySQL and PHP) do I have to install first? because I uploaded the latest stable phpBB and when i went to install it it said it couldn't find the database.

please help, as I'm pretty much illiterate in this subject.... i read a book on mySQL, but it didn't really help with this particular issue.

The main characters of grave of the fireflies. They both die. Therefore, they must have had the worst childhood.

Do you prefer reading the manga of a series, or watching it? With a lot of series the characters change a lot from the manga to the actual anime show. For me, i thought sailor moon as a manga was actually halfway good, but the anime had some bad/annoying voice acting and I just didn't get into it.

Maybe name a series or two that you prefer one way or the other.... I'm looking for new manga to read.

We got cable way back when I was like 12, and I watched Tenchi Muyo on Cartoon Network

The Outlaw Star soundtrack cd, got it on ebay for $5 and I was SO excited. It made me so happy I bought the other two, one of the soundtrack CD's for Tenchi Muyo, and every single sountrack CD for Cowboy Bebop.

I would definitely stay up past midnight, that's super early for my standards! I've actually stayed up until 9am the next morning just because I wanted to watch the first season of an anime in one night!

Hello from america! and welcome! I'm new too.

I have never heard of Shingetsutan Tsukihime, what's it about?

And it totally took me longer than it should have to find the 'new thread' button.

So anyhow, I have my own website that I upload free graphics and layouts to, but its just getting started. Its sort of anime biased, (I have more anime content than anything else).

I have been watching anime FOREVER! I've been trying to keep a list of the anime I've watched, and manga I've read but the list is SO long that its hard to keep up. I can however state that the most recent anime I've watched is Hare & Guu.

I'm keeping up with Death Note, and Bleach (not really sure I like the direction bleach is headed though...)

I'm not a big fan of extremely depressing anime, for example Wolf's Rain, Grave of the Fireflies, etc...
